Laitmawsiang is located 23km away from sub-district headquarter Khatarshnong Laitkroh Tehsil of East Khasi Hills district in Meghalaya, India. It is situated and 55 km away from district headquarter Shillong. The Garden of Caves is a natural habitat Surrounded by green bushes and hedges, the place is the abode of caves and waterfalls. Garden of Caves is a known gem of a place when you enter the city of Sohra\Cherapunjee.

When you visit the Garden of Caves there are 7 seven defined spots. the King's cave, Sum Syiem Falls, Ki Stieh Maw which, a Heart-shaped rock, Baby rock, Arsdad Falls and the Riat Umlwai Falls. every entrant gets a guide to walk along and guide to all the seven points. There are 3-4 waterfalls and in the rainy season, it looks awesome.  

Located approximately 5 km from Cherapunjee road, this location is a hidden treasure of Awesome waterfalls and rapids. A number of caves carved out of limestone by nature is an amazing place. Breathtaking waterfalls that will remain in your heart forever.  So if you plan to visit Cherrapunji, this is must visit place. That place doesn't have any hotel and restaurant, so it is advisable to carry your own food and enjoy this place. Recommended Duration to visit this place is appro 2 hr. 

How to Reach (by air/train/road) 
By Air: The nearest airport is in Shillong which is about 55 km away from here. 

By Train: The nearest major railway station is at Guwahati, which is located at a distance of 145 km from here. 

By Road: The place is well connected by roads, and anyone  can hire a Taxi from Airport or railway station 


Nearby Tourist Attractions -Cherapunji and Khasi Hills, Shilong 
Famous for -Trekking, Picnic, Nature beauty, Flora Fauna, Amazing  waterfalls under rocks
Timing -Morning  8 Am to 5 Pm.
